Kick Butts Day |

JEL Students Plan Kick Butts Day Events April 2, 2008 Students across the five county service area prepare activities to celebrate Kick Butts Day.
Cedar Rapids– Students from Marion Take Charge and Midland STAND groups will stage a peaceful “Sit In” at the Olive Garden on Collins Road. Students will arrive at the restaurant to take up the smoking section of the restaurant in order to allow the restaurant to be smoke free for an hour.
Center Point Urbana HS– Students from CPU will have a crime scene to recognize the 1200 people who are wrongly killed by tobacco related diseases every day. They will also host contests throughout the day for students to participate in.

Quit Clinics A free quit clinic will be held for anyone interested in learning more about how to quit smoking. Clinic will include information on nicotine replacement, tips and tricks and much more.
